Disney World’s Narcoosees Restaurant Review
Let me just say that our experience at Disney’s Narcoosee’s was wonderful with a capitol W! Narcoosee’s is located at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort near The Magic Kingdom.
On our last trip to Disney World in April of 2016, my Fiancé and I decided to have a date night. Turns out we had several date nights that trip, but we’ll stick to Narcoosee’s for now :-)….
The food is characterized as simply American Seafood Cuisine with a waterfront / coastal look and feel. Dress is casual business, nice jeans and shirt is fine – just no flip flops or short shorts. It’s a bit pricey, so keep that in mind. If you’re not drinking adult beverages that will definitely help to keep the price down. However we had adult beverages and splurged a little and our tab was close to $200.
We got an early start that night and arrived at the restaurant early enough to request a window seat with a water view. It certainly enhanced our experience and I definitely recommend requesting the water view. We got to watch Disney’s Water Pageant!
The décor has a high end feel without giving up the spirit of the coastal waterfront theming. It was very comfortable – and let me tell you, we were there several hours!
The food is exquisite! Very flavorful and plenty of it. We were very pleased. We had heard that the Lobster Mac N Cheese was an iconic dish and couldn’t wait to try it….well it didn’t disappoint!
I love Scallops and the Sea Scallops at Narcoosee’s were very nicely done. However, I think they may not be on the menu any longer. But if they are, I recommend giving them a try if you like Scallops.
For the Entre’ we had the Key West Shrimp with Garganelli Pasta. OMG! If you like saucy dishes – and who doesn’t right – this is a must try. It was so rich and flavorful! The seasoning was spot on and the portion plentiful.
So, this is our experience with Narcoosee’s. I put it in the must try category….happy fooding!
